Bought these for my 92 year old dad 4 years ago and he wore them EVERY day. He has hammer toes which are very painful and these are very comfortable for him.For years friends of mine kept telling me to buy a pair of Keens because they are so comfortable. I listened to them but never did until now. I hate the look of the rubber sole wrapping the toe. I wasn’t secure enough in my own manhood to wear them. It’s still not my favorite looking shoe but they were right, this is a very comfortable shoe. I love how the toe box has more room. I find that my feet do not hurt after standing and walking for long periods a day. Definitely not a shoe you wear with shorts. My wife laughed at me when I did but they do look better with a pair of jeans. Very comfortable. When the product arrived, I thought I made a bad choice. I have Keen sandals and love them. The shoes came in and they were stiff. I wore them to work anyway. I don't know if the heat from my feet loosen up the shoe, but they were very comfortable. I love the design around the toes, where the shoe doesn't squeeze them together. A good buy.EDIT: a week in and the top, back edge of the collars/heel tabs have been rubbing the back my ankles/achilles awkwardly, and at times painfully. I don't quite have blisters, but I think I'd get them if I were to go for a good long walk in these. Very surprising given how comfy the boots were. Doesn't seem to be a breaking-in issue, but a design flaw from the shape of the "Achilles notch." Taking away two stars in my review for this.- - - - -For years the Austin boot has been my go to everyday wear for lunting around the neighborhood, and casual days at the office. I love the basic design and find it super comfortable. Apparently, those are no longer available. My only knock on these shoes is that they're shoes and not boots -- i miss the extra support for my ankles. If Keene keeps going down this road of super casual/"technical" designs i may have to abandon the brand after a decade and go for something less comfy, but more able to go home from a long walk about and then into the office.Good buyNo break-in period required. The shoes are very comfortable and attractive. They look great with shorts or jeans. These are great. I have difficult time finding comfortable walking/kicking around shoes that look decent. I don't like sneakers and am used to wearing clogs or boots for work, both of which hep my arches. This is the only shoe I've found that offers equal support. I can wear these all day and my feet are very happy. I'll definitely buy again. The shoe is shaped like a foot , no toe jam or other uncomfortable places against the foot . The only minus is the low style shoe allows debris to enter from the top , no issue in normal use . Review at about 50 miles of use .Excellent quality shoes, very stylish and super comfortable. These are the first shoes I've worn which has a great arch support in built in them. Very impressed. I had been watching this for over 4 months and finally the price came down to £55 and I didn't hesitate to buy them. Now the price is back up to around high nineties so I'll wait again to order a second pair of different colour.Cannot recommend enough for these shoesUnfortunately the quality control Keen uses falls short. I have purchase several pairs of Keen over the years and although I do like the style and available sizes, the craftsmanship is cheap- low quality for the exbortinant prices charged. Why does the UK Keen store charge $40 more for the same exact shoe than the USA Keen? Keen's business model in this global day and age, is not a "good fit" !Looks well made, however the leather is harder than the shoes I purchase some years ago (same model) and not as wide. Would suit some, but not this one!Delivery was fine and the product is exactly as expected.I have large feet - size 13, most shoe designs when enlarged to size 13 look like boats, not these, very comfortable and stylish, what more could one want
