Quite impressed with this belt. I was especially cautious about spending $80 on a single belt, but after reading reviews and researching leather types and classifications I decided to give it a try. This belt appears to be constructed from two layers of full grain leather, shaped and feathered with the backs sturdily glued together and faces (the actual outside of the cow hide, presumably milled or sanded to some small degree for finish) being the part that shows. The finish of the surface is lustrous and blemish-free, so much so that I examined it closely to make sure that it wasn't an applied coating like most cheaper belts (it isn't).Possibly my favorite aspect of this belt is the buckle. Most belts buckle in a way that creates a huge kink and puts extra stress on the belt where it bends under the buckle bar. This, especially since I tend to wear my belts using the same hole each time, causes all of my cheap belts to quickly crack, become marred by the buckle bar, or in the case of low quality bonded leather belts lose their plastic outer coating and reveal my poor taste to the world. Not so with this belt - once buckled the strap lays almost flat with no sharp edges of the buckle bar digging into the surface, and virtually all of the stress taken by the sturdy hole and pin.tl;dr: I have finally found a well constructed, intelligently designed, and beautifully finished belt, and while it isn't cheap, I'm sure it'll last a long while and look great the whole time.I had very high hopes for this belt. When I first received it, I was amazed at how handsome it was. The color of the cameron belt, in particular, is beautiful. I was so impressed, I immediately bought another. However, in less than a year, the belt's beauty has begun to fade quickly. I have attached a picture of where the belt's finish has begun to wear down. I have also attached a picture of where the belt buckle has begun to discolor. For such an expensive belt, I would expect it to age more gracefully.I like this belt for daily business causal.Nicest belt I have ever owned. After years of buying cheap belts that would either come apart or crack or were extremely stiff, I was amazed at how buttery soft and pliable this leather belt is. I have a 31" waist and the size 32 fits me perfectly on the center hole. Definitely worth the premium to cheaper belts.I bought this belt to match a pair of cole haan British tan shoes. I had the hardest time finding a color match since the corresponding cole haan British tan belts seem to be out of stock everywhere. But this belt is about a 99% match. The shoes have just a slightly reddish hint that is not in the belt which is unnoticeable while wearing. The buckle is made out of plastic. The leather feels nice. But the buckle really kills it. If I picked it up in a store I would have thought 25$ was too expensive.Expensive, but worth every cent. Accustomed to cheap imitation leather belts made in China, I was blown away by the difference. I strongly suspect that this belt will last much longer than 5 cheapies, and thus end up being less expensive in the long run.returned
