Like dress shoe and a lightweight running shoe had a baby.I was a little apprehensive about the style of these at first, but by the end of my first day of wearing them I don’t care - I’m never going back to regular dress shoes. The style has grown on me, and even garnered some compliments. I’m buying another color ASAP.I didn’t realize how light these are as well. They may be the lightest shoes I own, which provides an incredible amount of comfort itself.The toe box seemed a little narrow at first, but has stretched and conformed nicely to my foot.It’s so hard to find this shoe in the wide option. But man does it fit great and comfortable for all day wear.Very stylish and comfortable! I wore them the first time at a convention for 9 hours with no issues. Very lightweight and great looking.I'm a size 8.5 in almost every shoe I've owned. Occasionally I can wear an 8, but usually buy 9 if there are no half sizes available. So I was delighted to see these Cole Haans' available in half sizes. I'm 5'11 tall, weight 70kg, so of slim to athletic build with bony feet. So I was dismayed to find these 8.5 (uk) shoes way too small, I couldn't even get my feet inside the shoe.I am further disappointed to see that the size 9 is are twice the price of the 8.5 shoes, so won't be buying those. Only Amazon know's why it has differential pricing on different sizing of the same item. Its really frustrating. Its something that Amazon need to look at seriously because it does stop me doing any major shopping with them. I'm sick and tired of searching for clothing and instead of seeing a price, they show a price range sometimes with massive variance, examples like showing £66 - £217 for the same item, even from the same seller and usually Amazon themselves!On the plus side these shoes are very well made, premium quality and as my bother is slightly smaller than me these will fit him, so that's his Christmas present sorted this year. Weather or not he wanted a pair of Brogue shoes, that's what he's getting!My advice to anyone considering purchasing these shoes is to go at least half a size bigger and if you're of a larger build, at least one full size bigger.Normally I wear size is 7.5 to 8 dependent on brand. Ordered these shoes in size 8 as these were significantly cheaper than size 7.5. Lovely looking shoe and very light, however, they were at least 1 size too big and close to being 2 sizes too big. The shoe is also wide fitting (these were not the wide fitting version), not helped by the sizing being way-off. Returned for refund. Disappointed as I liked the look and feel of the shoe.What can I say, great shoes. They're so hard to buy online, even on Amazon. Grab them if they re available.Like wearing slippers in the office. After a long working day I found that my feet felt so good that I'd often opt to stand on the train journey home. Also found these to be super comfortable when walking.The shoe is great! I walk alot in the UK so this shoe not only looks great but it's light and feels great. The shoe does crease very easy, being that it's light weight, but also being that it's black it conceals better. I'm very satisfied and I just might buy another color for 2nd shoe. I love how it feel like a casual shoe but the black on black still keeps it looking formal.
